TG Custom Rods is a New Zealand based custom rod builder, delivering premium hand crafted rods to fishing folk of all styles. The new product page coming in April 2027 will showcase a range of pre-made of rods from lightweight fly rods, great intro rods for kids, premium spinning rods to the best in surf casting rods.

All builds utilise blanks made from the latest in rod building technology providing you with the lightest and strongest rods on the market.
These are backed by an industry leading warranty - so you know they're good.

All TG Custom Rods are built the old fashioned way using the latest in rod technology to produce a rod that is a dream to fish with. No more twisting reel seets and grips that move - as our rods are made with love (and we actually use the correct amount of adhesive) compared to a factory produced rod.
