This rod was the first of 2021 Series (#MF2101-906) and it is sure to please.
 
A moderate-fast IM6 carbon fibre, 6 weight 9 foot rod that has been hand crafted by TG Fly Fishing. This rod will not only fish well, it is deftinitely a one of a kind.
 
I have positioned the spine of the rod on top (SOT) which encourages greater accuracy and shooting distance in the forward cast compared to an off the roack factory rod. 

The IM-6 cabon fibre blanks allow for tighter casting loops making casting in those tight spaces easy with a rod of this length.
 
The rod has been finished with a cross wrap design at the butt end leading to the under wrapped stripping guides and standard snake guides all spaced according to the length and ability of the rod. Optimised for a 90mm diameter reel, however the placement of the stripping guide is in a position that will lay the line down the rod without casuing stress to the line regardless of the size of reel used. This has been calculated for maximum torque through the rod to the tip at hook set.
 
An aluminium and timber reel seat compliment this hand crafted gem.
